Lightly crush the whole cardamom, cinnamon, and chili flakes, keeping them in large pieces
10 cardamom pods, 2 stick cinnamons, 1/2 tsp chili flakes
In a saucepan, add the milk, cream, and spices and let it cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes.
300 ml full-fat milk, 300 ml liquid whipping cream/heavy cream
Once the milk is warm, add both the chocolates, cocoa powder, brown sugar, and salt and mix.
160 grams milk chocolate, 70 grams dark chocolate, 20 grams brown sugar, 15 grams cocoa powder, 1/2 tsp salt
Let it cook on low heat until the chocolate is completely melted and everything is well combined. Keep stirring often to avoid burning.
Strain the hot chocolate to remove the spices, top with whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon powder, and enjoy.
