Make the filling: In a bowl, add softened butter (56 gs), brown sugar (50 gs), cinnamon powder (8 gs), and flour (5 gs) and whisk together until you have a smooth mixture. Make sure that the butter is soft, at room temperature, and not melted. You want the filling to have a spreadable consistency.
Take 4 slices of your favorite bread, spread melted butter on one side of each slice, then sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on top of the butter. The butter will help the cinnamon sugar stick on the bread. Make sure you cover the entire surface of the bread with the sugar mixture. You can make cinnamon sugar by mixing sugar and cinnamon, nothing complicated!
Spread a thick layer of the cinnamon butter filling on one of the bread slices, then place the second slice on top.
Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat, then place the toastie on it. Cook on med-low heat until the sugar is melted and has formed a crunchy crust on the bread. Make sure you don’t turn the heat very high or the sugar will burn. Flip the toastie and cook the other side until it reaches the same stage.
While the toastie is cooking, make a quick icing sugar glaze by combining icing sugar and milk until you reach a thick but pourable consistency.
Once the toastie is cooked, pour some of the icing sugar glaze on top, cut the cinnamon roll toastie (diagonally, of course), and enjoy!
