Easy Apple Crumble Recipe

Honestly, I don’t have much to say about this recipe cause it’s THAT simple. It’s literally just apples covered in cinnamon, flour, lemon, and sugar, topped with a crumble made with oats, flour, brown sugar, and butter.

This is THE dessert you have to make when you’re craving something sweet but want to put in 0 effort. Literally, a baby could make this, so you’re good. Believe me.

What’s the best part you ask? You can make it in any bowl (as long as it’s oven-safe, duh), and dig into it straight out of the bowl. We’ve left all the fancy-shmancyness out the door in this one. The warm, cinnamon apples with the crunchy oats make for the best dessert for a cozy night in with a cup of hot chocolate.

Might I also add that it’s the perfect dessert to make for a romantic date night πŸ˜‰.

Quick Apple Tip: If you want the apple filling to have a little bit of bite and texture, use granny smith (green) apples as they take longer to cook. For those who prefer a softer apple filling, use red apples like fuji or gala as they cook quicker and lose most of their texture in the process.

If you, like me, are addicted to fall desserts, here are some recipes that you will LOVE

PS: I always measure ingredients in grams, never in cups. Using a measuring scale is the only way to bake accurately. Cups are very unreliable and can give different measurements, so I would suggest you buy a measuring scale before you start baking! If you can’t get your hands on one, you can use the online tools for converting grams into cups, however, I do not guarantee their accuracy.
